Ken, There is definitely a lot of noise. I don’t quite see a theme yet, but think inside/outside is going to be difficult to make read. There are many spaces in various degrees of definition, and many transitions to choose from. I think you could remove the entire outer layer of walls and columns without loosing entrance sequence, large and small spaces and most of the transitions. Less is more?
I would like to see the plan, with labels, before going too far, but I wonder if the spaces could be adjusted to offer more of a "flow" from one to another thru the required transitions??? right now, I like the different views, or glimpses, that are offered thru the gaps and columns, but wonder if I wouldnt feel lost if I were in the plan??? which is unsettling... the glimpses are great, but can they also be achieved with a more coherent plan layout?? this might also enable you to better address the inside/outside issue..
